LET’S have some fun today! Have you run across any humanoid robots lately? Read one man’s very funny rant against humanoid robots that waste our time and energy yakking at us instead of just doing their jobs. When you’re done laughing at the rant, go ahead and pull up the list of the 25 most common passwords of 2017 and see what you should NOT be using to protect your accounts.
On a more serious note, if you replaced a cell phone recently, as I have, you may have noticed that the charger connector goes into your phone either way, whereas USB connectors have historically only connected in one direction. You’re not dreaming – the new connectors are called USB-C and you’ll want to read up on them so that you’re informed ahead of your next electronics purchases.
No matter what you might think of walking, talking, humanoid robots, I guarantee you’ll love this robot rant.

I know you’ve been waiting with baited breath for this:
The 25 Most Common Passwords of 2017
Feel free to laugh at these lame attempts at password security…..and if by some chance there is a password whose simplicity you’ve somehow overlooked, now is the perfect time to change it.

New News in the USB Connector World
You may have heard that the creator of the USB connector recently died.
They lowered the coffin into his grave;
lifted it back out, turned it around
and lowered it back in again.
The new USB-C connector puts paid to one of my favorite jokes because the new connector fits into devices either way. If you have run across one of these new connectors, you might appreciate the attached explanation. Sure, some of it is technical enough to make your hair hurt, but the new connector technology may affect some of your future buying decisions, especially in regards to laptops, so this is an important read.
